UTMB Wins the Best of Texas Award for an Integrated Electronic Health Network

The Best of Texas awards program, sponsored by The Center for Digital Government, recognizes IT professionals and government agencies for dedication and contributions to state and local governments. Sherri Ray, a network support specialist for UTMB's Electronic Health Network department, submitted the initial application because of her belief that their EHR was the best of its kind in the state. As a result, UTMB was recognized for successfully integrating their electronic medical records system and their telemedicine initiatives.
